RePURpose

RePURpose is a research and development project aimed at making the plastic material polyurethane recyclable. In close collaboration between Danish Technological Institute, Ecco, Dan-Foam, Logstor, Tinby, Plixxent, H. J. Hansen and the University of Aarhus, the project will develop new technologies and uncover the necessary infrastructure required to effectively recycle polyurethane. In the project, we are working with two technologies: one aimed at recycling industrial production waste, and one focused on procesing end-of-life consumer products containing polyurethane. We call the two technologies ReUSE and ReCYCLE respectively.
